991 GT3 Rear Bumper - US Models

1 Attachment(s)
So on the US Model 997 GT3s the rear bumper had a wide European width license tag depression and part of the depression was occupied by the protruding 5 mph humps effectively narrowing the license tag opening to the US tag width. The tow hook location is under the US tag.

Like this GT3RS...

The European cars however had a wide depression and of course no requirement for the 5mph humps.

Same GT3RS after conversion to the European rear bumper...

The 991 non GT3 cars no longer have the humps, however they do have a narrowed tag opening and I assume the 5mph impact accommodation has been moved under the bumper cover.

The US configurator shows the wide opening, but it also shows the wide opening on the other 991 models.

All the 991 GT3 spy shots and test cars that were captured in the US appeared to be either prototype or ROW production exteriors.

Anyone seen a rear bumper for a 991 GT3 US production model yet? Anyone car to place a guess on what the rear bumper cover will look like on the US 991 GT3?

While they are back there, how about installing some parking sensors? You know, like Hyundai has.....
