enough to push the car hard enough to feel that difference?

Congrats on the pick up and even better than you didn't pay over MSRP.

You can feel the difference without pushing the car. It gets even better when you push the car. It’s about the sweet, easier turn in and better braking and acceleration. It makes a big difference and you can really feel the magnesium wheel’s impact if you drive one car with them and one car without them back to back.

I get that mag wheels are a great option. But, super-light wheels are something that can be added and subtracted easily (and often are). And I just don't see it being something that's going to cause the ones with mags to defy the gravity felt by almost any non-limited, no-longer-latest/greatest, 350-400k sports car. It wouldn't deter me one way or the other if I was in the market for one. In fairness, I'm not, nor do i own either; so maybe my opinion is worthless or maybe it's unbiased? Prob both.

Yes that’s true. I must admit I went out of my way to get the OEM mags, however, they have come down in price where it made sense to buy them vs wec BBS’s.

Having on the build she is good but buy what I like and luv... There is a big premium for those with magnesium wheels but MSRP and under can still be found but not brand new.
Another thought, having on build sheet but damaged or missing, which is going to happen, will suck.

Lots of great points in this thread in regards to the Magnesium wheels. From what we've seen is GT2RS' with the OEM Magnesium Wheels are more sought after than ones without. How that will affect asking price of these cars 3, 4, 5 years down the line remains to be seen but I reckon the highest optioned versions will end up being the most desired.
For those who weren't able to get their hands on the Magnesium wheels feel free to contact me as I have a few of them.
OP, fantastic purchase. Subscribed to this thread and hoping there are more photos to come.

^^^agree. But additionally, down the road, cars don't trade at +/- MSRP. they just trade at a price. Nobody quotes a 5/10/20yr old Porsche in +/- msrp. Market will list a higher optioned car for more money sometimes but whether those options trade at a premium to their original cost, nobody knows. Said another way, Porsche has already priced higher optioned cars at higher prices. Nothing says a set of options or mags have to trade at more or less of a premium than Porsche already charges. In the future, I'm sure mag wheel cars will trade at a premium to non-mag wheels; so will most pts and other highly desirable options; but at what premium or discount to their original msrp.....who knows? Sometimes zero option cars trade higher down the road. All depends on that crystal ball i don't have. Buy what you like in the meantime.
