GT3 RS wheels on GT3??

Sorry if this has been asked. Couldn’t find it. Would the 991.2 GT3 RS wheels fit on 991.2 GT3? I know with the fenders and rear quarter most likely being a bit wider I feel as if the wheels being 20x9.5 and 21x12.5 should fit snug. Or maybe I’m totally wrong. Wondering if anyone has tried. Thanks.

Someone did it successfully, but they had to use special tires (lower profile). Think they only make street tires in the necessary sizes. If you use the regular RS tires (aside from possibly not fitting), you will have taller gearing (slower acceleration) and the ABS and other electronics may not be calibrated properly for the different diameter offsets front/rear.

Thanks. The gold wheels are growing on me with exterior being chalk. Seem to be only 3 options.
1 magnesium bbs re 1757 for a million dollars ($17k)
2 stock GT3 RS wheels aurum finish ($8k)
3 bbs fi-r centerlock bronze ($9k)
the last being bronze and not so much gold.

Dip your existing wheels, problem solved.

for 8k the GT3 RS oem wheels are not worth the money. go aftermarket. have you looked at forgeline?

 now we’re talking! Any rubbing or adjustment to suspension?

No rubbing but the ride got quite a bit stiffer w the 30 series and 25 series rubber.

This GT3 is lowered quite a bit.

We have fit a Turbo S as well like this which wasnt lowered as severly w no rubbing issues

I have, not a fan. BBS, or Techart probably only wheels I’d buy for Porsche. Or just leave stocks. I got the itch ever since I got the car 🤦🏽

Maybe powder coat your wheels?

I guess I could, but my plan was to get my foot in the door with this gt3. A perfectly spec’d touring is still on my mind. I’d like to keep this car as factory as possible or do things that are easily removable just in case a touring or RS happened to pop up on my radar in a year or so. At that point I could transfer wheels on new car. With that reason I’m leaning more towards the mags (RS size) even tho are way more than I want to spend. To be honest I should just be out driving and not thinking about any of this ish but I can’t help myself. “Facepalm”

That's a big change in F/R diameter ratio (26.3" / 27.4") compared to stock (26.8" / 27.2"), has your client reported any issues with the ABS / PSM nannies when driven hard?
