Slate grey, xenons, buckets, no clock. Looks familiar :) https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...7d384c677.jpeg |

Yup. Slate grey. No sport chrono for me. Had it on my GTS and never used it.
Buckets inside with extended yellow stitching. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted this car. I had a winged PDK car and loved it. I can't afford two, so had to sell that one to get this guy and was considering bailing on the deal. Then PTS came up and I got that. I haven't seen the car in the flesh but I'm already in love. The rational side of my brain tells me to entertain any buyers right now but the emotional side of me wants to keep this car forever. I like the 992 but I will never lust for one like I did this car. But say a car like yours popped up? My rational mind has limits of course... |

I was reminded of this car when discussing the perfect subtle Touring spec that still is something more special than the standard silver options. I also love the lack of sport chrono--but we never saw any pictures of the inside. Do you have any? (referring to the first post)

Carbon fiber mirrors in exterior to match buckets. Extended yellow stitching inside. Nice blend of modern porsche touches accented on the heritage color. |
Congrats. Awesome looking Touring. Superb color choice! Enjoy.

PTS would make it impossible to pass up I agree. My dealer called me a few weeks back about some bonus cars they got--a chalk and silver Touring. Only $5K ADM. I would have posted it here but they were going through their list and I know someone local will take them. Little things were off from what I would have built--they both had sport chrono, 18 ways, and non-black wheels. Just not exactly what I would pick, and already having a poor man's Touring (991.1 GTS, manual) it's hard to justify making the jump unless it's exactly what I'd want.

^ It's not the cost. It's the pointless and ugly dashboard stopwatch. I wouldn't buy a car with Sport Chrono, either.

Nice! I like the brakes and yellow stitching! Congratulations!

The gloss is so high on the clean car I was also wondering which color it was - I was seeing so many reflections |
In the world of GT cars, there seem to be several religious debates: buckets vs sofas, ceramics vs irons, wings vs gurneys, Bose vs not, turbos vs 4.0, paddles vs stick, pts vs cheap, leather vs ultrasuede... But the one option that seems to truly be a crowd-polarizing show-stopper is clock vs no clock??? Really? To me, it's a $500 option that most passengers probably won't even notice...

Very nice!

Sport Chrono is $500. If you’re anguishing over that you’re not a buyer.
The reflections are annoying. Actually the deviated stitching reflections are also a bit annoying, but less so. During the day polarized sunglasses can take care of it, but at night they are distracting. To me anyway. |
