Anyone else aboard the Grand Venus? My Chalk GT3 is chugging its way to the West Coast.

My Chalk 3RS that was completed 1/10 is. February 13th can’t come soon enough! |
Mine is on the Grand Venus. MB 3RS w/WP. Built 12/7, but got held up for several weeks for a couple small cxxx items. Originally thought we would get the car before Christmas. Well overdue!

Do these get updated? My car has been in Emden for a bit waiting for a ride to Davisville. I think it's due to be on the Euphrates Highway that was due to leave on the 25th at the latest, but as of today the 28th is still moored at port. |

I first asked about an allocation in August - now more than 6 months later I'm tracking the Grand Venus every single day.
It just passed Acapulco... San Diego on the 14th or so... How long does it typically take to unload and get from San Diego to Benicia? |

Well, the San Diego roll-off is all wrapped up - I hope everyone receives their car (or cars) soon without any hiccups (or, gasp, port holds).
Now the Grand Venus is creeping along very slowly west of the Golden Gate, just a bit behind schedule - maybe there's some congestion at the port? Anyone else expecting a car in Benicia? Tracking the Grand Venus multiple times a day like me? |

Looks like the Grand Venus has been unloaded (based on the decrease in draught) so now I'm just waiting on the port exit status update... I hope mine doesn't get randomly chosen for an 80 mile road test.

The more I learn about these RO-RO cargo ships,and the logistics involved, it’s really fascinating. Good luck! |

My SA called me Saturday and said my car is going through PDI at san Diego and should be at the dealership Thursday or Friday! Barring any issues after PDI.

My wife commutes into SF and drives by Marin Porsche every day. She said she saw a car trailer in front unloading white wrapped cars this morning - most likely the first batch from the Grand Venus. So some lucky individual(s) should be getting calls shortly! I haven’t received a call yet from my SA so mine might not be on this first trailer.... |

Mine finished PDI on 2/20 and made it onto a truck on 2/21. It might already be in Seattle! I'll swing by the dealer Saturday and see what I can see.
Starting this process back in August seems so long ago now... Oh, wait a sec... it was! |
... and now, it's here! I received a text message just before 10AM and drove over to watch it roll off the truck this morning!

Odd I live in Eastern Washington and mine showed up last Friday. In any case good luck to all those waiting. The snow is deep here so it will be some time before I can do anything but polish and maybe an exhaust upgrade. If the snow keeps up I may get some winter tires.
