Greedy *** Dealer
As most of you know the Byers Porsche Dealership took 2-5 GT3 CLUB RACING cars. You tell me when these cars were being manufactured for the club racer/track day guy what right Porsche has giving a dealer these cars. What so he can hoard them and later sell them for a huge profit.I find this typical of Porsche in general.. And no I would not have the funds to have bought one myself.

Yeah, saw those there Saturday before New Year’s Eve when I stopped to get some new wiper blades for the Cayenne. Pretty pair.
Service manager Said they were 2 of only 5 (and the Blue one is the only of the 5 that’s not white), and I couldn’t understand either how one dealer got them.
I don’t know anything about pricing. Are they asking some crazy ADM? If not, then what’s the big deal?
P.S. These aren’t even street legal and are true track cars that come with boxes of spare parts. It’s not like a large number of folks in this forum would ever consider them anyway. They’ll probably sell to one of a handful of true race team type Porsche-O-Philes.

These are the PCA editions, correct? I don't think that's the only blue one; unless he meant only blue one still unsold. There was a blue one at PEC LA that I believe (could be wrong here) was in for maintenance and was a customer's car ("customer" could be a team etc.). I doubt it's the same car but not impossible.
I don't get the big deal about the dealer having two. Most dealers probably wouldn't/couldn't move these and you're looking at a very different type of customer.

Guess you don't get the drift that they were manufactured for the public to buy not for dealers to buy and resell down the road for huge profits.

It's getting out of hand here on RL. It's a free market, if the dealer wants to acquire them and sell them, and there is a buyer at the asking price, the market has prevailed.

Also are you sure these are even for sale? I bothered finding the article and it mentions they are "on display" and mentions nothing about being for sale?
PCNA could be rotating these from dealer to dealer, the same way they rotate some of their other marquee cars.

These specific cars were never going to see a track anyway. They are for collectors. Go read the other thread about it.

Well they are offering this Subaru with an MSRP of $36k for a low price of $341k. Seems reasonable.
