Lol at this thread. Is this the 50th spinoff from the original Champion scandal thread?

man, you really turned sour on GT's after swapping for a TTS. Never noticed your posts until about a week ago, but I think I've read comments along these lines at least 15 times in a week. Maybe give the GT section of the forum a break while you get past this? haha

I didn't put anything down and I have a commission number and a build date. It happens...

Damn. Well I'm looking for a GT3RS allocation at MSRP if anybody has a lead haha! Either way I don't see what the big deal with deposits is (unless you get scammed of course). It's the ADM that get you in the end. I'm fine with a deposit (refundable) if the car is MSRP. I had to put down a $10K deposit on my GT3 with a small ADM. In the end I'm happy with the car and that's what matters. But the same dealer wants $70,000 over sticker for an RS and that's too much for me.

I did twice. You just need to find the right dealer.

You did what twice? Got a car with no deposit? But with an ADM? Or a car with no deposit at MSRP?

I don't see what the big deal is with deposits anyway. If it's from a dealer you trust, it shouldn't be a problem. It's the ADM that really gets you. Then again, I'm sure everyone who got scammed thought they could trust this guy at Champion.

while I got my allocation at MSRP, I would never advocate for interfering with the free market (which in all cases has unintended consequences - in this case it would exacerbate the problem of flippers).

no dealers are putting a gun to the head of somebody willingly paying over MSRP. I don't fault either the dealers or those paying over MSRP in those cases. people have the right to spend their money as they wish.

Careful what you ask for.

If PCNA were to require GT cars be sold at MSRP what’s to stop them from requiring the same for all Porsche models.

I've noticed the negative GT3 vibe as well. He's had a GT3 for all of 3 months.. 3 months and switched to a TTS.

We get it, the GT3 is not for everyone, lol.

ive bought a lot of Porches from same dealer. I’ve never put down deposit; not when ordering my 18 GT3 and not when ordering my 19 RS. Small city, we all know each other.

If PCNA required dealers to sell GT cars at MSRP all this would do is drive up the used market......if the demand is there for something people will pay a premium new or used
