If so by Champion giving their ADM back to the buyers that got scammed is truly an act and gesture of making things right. Kudos to Champion if that is the case.

Just to start---How much do you value your time?
Think about everything else that is going on in addition to a transaction...
Consider all of the legal implications. Who those witnesses might be. Maybe those witnesses have done absolutely nothing wrong, but have needed attorneys to guide them through this process. Attorneys aren't free. Maybe "XYZ" legal entity needs to interview them? Maybe "ABC" legal entity needs to interview them? And maybe if you don't interview you might be forced by certain legal entities to do such a thing.... And do you really want to go through this without legal representation--which might cost money? Maybe...? maybe no?.
Everyone is in a different situation and if this was simply agreeing to ADM and getting a car I might possibly agree with you--but probably not.

So you are telling me all victims were giving a legit allocation? How did that happen because about this time allocations were basically gone? Did Porsche release more and make more allocation available and give them all to Champion?

What I wrote was, If so..... and quoted another from his post#2025. I did not say "all victims were given a legit allocation." Never said anything to that effect.

Got it. Yeah I am very reluctant to just let them off the hook here. Unless all got the car they expected to get there is plenty of blame to go around.

GT3RS-Fan1 04-09-2019 12:59 PM

No problem. The only way Champion can make everything and everybody "right" is to give "future allocations", as you have stated and many of us here know, allocations on 991.2 wound down already. No more allocations.

I can't believe Shiraaz Sookralli got bailed out of jail on Friday. His bond was set at $200,000 and he only had to pay 10% or $20,000 which was posted by Kalawaitie Sookralli/Rasheed Sukralli, giving a Plantation address. The requirements are he is under house arrest and cannot leave the Southern District of Florida, and must surrender his passport, not sure if that was done. He must reside with family in Plantation Acres. My guess, is that is his parents who bailed him out.

How does he maintain or seek full-time employment while under home confinement?

jeffostroff 04-10-2019 08:08 AM

LOL He really has no way to seek a job because it is just as though he was in custody he is officially under arres but t is just not sitting in a jail cell thery are allowing him to be under arrest at home.

Steals over $2MM and can get out of jail on bail with only $20K ??? System is flawed ...

It's not really that abnormal as far as bail goes. He's not a threat to anyone's safety that we know of, and it's not like he's gonna have an opportunity to con anyone out of an ADM any time soon so there's not much risk there either.

The fact he tried to evade authorities for so long kinda makes me think he shouldn't have been offered bail. Seems like a decent flight risk, but he didn't get away when he had the chance so there's that.

The bail system is kinda broken for other reasons but I wouldn't get too worked up about him getting bail in this case.
