PPIHC 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S GT3R America Cup Helicopter and In Car Footage
156 turns in 9:49.954
Porsche of Colorado Springs and PCS Motorsports present PPIHC Rookie David Donohue piloting our Porsche 911 Turbo S GT3R America Cup during the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Our Porsche finished second in Time Attack I with a 9:49.954, the second fastest time ever recorded in Time Attack I. Come see the car on our showroom floor. Enjoy, share and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel!
The car started life as a stock 2014 991.1 Turbo S. It was converted to our Time Attack II Champion for 2015. It now has a By Design stage 4 package, GT3 Cup fenders, bumper and deck lid, GT3R wing, GT America splitter (custom end fences) DSC suspension shocks, custom built RB Brake package for 18" Forgeline wheels. The car ran Avon hill climb tires in 300f/330r. It's making about 700hp at the wheels and we added water sprayers on the intercoolers and center radiator to keep it cool. We also have a KMP removable steering wheel with paddles that has buttons for switching suspension modes. It weighs about 3000lbs dry.
As far as we know, nothing like this has been done before in this platform.
We have nicknamed the car a 911 Turbo S GT3R America Cup due to the components from all of the different cars.
