I like the red and black too. But I would prefer a few (theoretical) CXX options to provide exterior red accents.

I am shocked so few people like the car on white. I think white would contrast the CF very well and is also porsches racing colour.

Black was my knee jerk choice, but I can't help but think it will dull down the look of the car and all the CF ****.

Don't start with expensive ideas please ;-)

My one wish would be to drop the yellow calipers. It's a color I'd never choose and it gets forced on everyone with PCCBs for some reason. (Exclusive Turbo S exempted).

LOL. And yes, the yellow calipers clash.

I like black and I think there will be a noticeable contrast with the carbon in person. Red is nice if you want even more contrast and would be my second choice.

Is anyone else annoyed that GT silver used to be a special colour at $3K then was free on the 3RS but now is a regular metallic colour for a boxster but $4k on the 2RS? I refuse to pay $4k for it even though I really like it.

Can anyone clarify why white is so undesirable? I know it's all
personal preference, but I am really shocked by this as I always thought white was a popular Porsche colour, especially when there is loads of CF. I haven't owned a Porsche in over 10 years so maybe I am missing something.

Was white highly undesirable on the 3RS?

I haven't written off white yet. It will depend on how it looks with the gold Weissach wheels which for me are a must have. I just can't do satin platinum or black which are ubiquitous on GT Porsches.

The gold wheels are awesome looking. They push me more in the direction of a black car but then again it goes with white too. It is also important to remember the porsche "white gold" is very subtle on these GT2 wheels.

Who would have thought gold wheels would go with silver and black... certainly not me!

Here are some pics that might help, but this is a much darker gold.

True, the white gold is much more subtle than traditional gold or bronze. The more pics I see of the launch car the more I'm leaning towards GT Silver. My current cars (LT coupe, GT3 RS, Speciale) are all in their respective launch colours so I may as well stick with the theme haha.

Lol - I feel the same that GT Silver is slowly winning me over. I'm a big fan of the white gold finish, which I never thought I would be.

I'd go with white, no weissach and gold or black wheels.

I normally hate red cars...but I have to say red with the red interior is pretty nice!

I'm thinking this car needs Viper Green...it needs to be loud and outrageous but to pull off the red interior the red exterior makes sense.

Who knows...I mean I love my mexico blue but I'm not feeling blue for this car.
