If you want to rate cars in terms of most fun.....The GT4 is on top of the list as a track car, and The Spyder is on top of the list as a road car....IMO there is no modern Porsche that will satisfy you as much as a Spyder even if you are making a grocery run...one important caveat " top must be down and sport plus button engaged"

Spyder with mods is possibly one of the most fun cars I've ever driven...it's a blast!

I have a 991 GT3RS and 981 spyder
both great cars in a different way
spyder is fun, relaxing, well balanced, easy to drive, great sound , well dampened
GT3RS is more intense, more beast, engine a little more special, more power,

Spyder actually feels like a car Porsche under-priced by $25-30k. Love mine.

Kinda off topic, have a 987 version here. Was randomly looking on the cars.com classifieds and only 6-8 of the first gen were available for sale in the entire US. I was pretty surprised by that. I think only 1 on the Porsche CPO website.

Loved mine, but I don't think it was underpriced at all. I think they priced it perfectly, as evidenced by the fact that they had to discount them near the end to sell out the last of the inventory. Good car, but I think it's a $90-$100k car and no more.

nice!
I think a Spyder (for MT fun and great road car) and GT3RS (for lightning lap times with PDK of course) would be the perfect combo.

I have a GT3 and GT4, so close, but not quite the same

Ha funny Have you been getting a lot of shoppers for them .......it took me awhile to find a car and I got lucky with the miles and spec I wanted. I think I found less than 12 for sale in the US?? I will drive the crap out of it.

My combo search:

Pccb
Buckets
Good interior combo
Not Guards or Carmine Red

Finally found 1! There is another car out there I am chasing but guy won't sell.

Yea not sure what it would take for me to sell my Spyder , it really is just an awesome all around car that checks so many boxes

So ironic that year and half ago they had to be discounted to get them off dealers lots !

Good luck I have not seen one for sale with PCCB's. I saw a silver one today in Manhattan with red interior and PCCB's it looked stunning.

My first gen Spyder has 78k miles on it. Have a baby on the way though so need to decide whether to keep or move to something with 4 doors. Mine's PDK with the sofa seats, but it is white with full sand beige interior which I feel is pretty nice with the red accents and a rare color combo. Love the car!
