It actually starts at $72k before options (still pretty good value - exactly half GT3)

Dig that supercharger whine...

The only issue with the camaro is tire life from fronts. The car is a beast

Oh yeah. Good point. Both guys I know who drive one say the fronts are done after 2 days at most. Then again, GT cars only get 3 days, so not much better ......

I am not a pro, and I am not that fast, but at Sebring, I had one of these go by me so fast, you would have thought it was an LMP car.

Joe is very fast - for more average drivers, the tires can last longer (somewhat track dependent too)

Been there, seen that! In the GT4 days if I could keep Joe in sight for a few turns I felt like I had accomplished something. My post was more lamenting the fact that the tire cost of getting even a little bit faster goes up disporportionately! With the GT4 I was getting 8-9 days out of a set of tires. The rate things are going with cup 2's on the GT3 I'll be lucky if I get 5 maybe 6.

Wow, had not seen that video before. Check about 7 minute mark of the lap time, he enters that turn at 173mph! And the car gets a little unsettled. I puckered watching it, can't imagine the stones it would take to drive that!

I've driven the ring, it truly is a monster. Huge respect for the driver here

When I had a loaner 991.2 Turbo, I was going 181 mph before that corner (and I slowed way earlier for the corner than that guy - car could've gone faster).

Agreed, I believe it's also hard on front brakes and the pedal tends to go soft.

Very cool! I am assuming the ZL1 is at Vmax there with all the static aero. The car has big front dive planes and a serious wing. Imagine what it could do with active aero!

I believe I’ve watched several dozen great videos of great laps at the Ring, but that was truly a spectacular lap by a driver that is beyond words - other than than one. ‘*****’.

Congrats. I hope to be that good one day.
