Any one know if new track app $550 that was subsidized by .1 $1850
Will actually have a camera in the rear view mirror and be more user friendly like a z06 has had for the past several years

Hi Mark, I was suppose to get mine mid September but now is subject to the delay. I have no idea as to when I will see. They claim first or second week in October but I am not buying it. My .1 was held up at port for four months to have the engine replaced.

What really pissed me off is that the car engine was replaced at the San Diego port in June but Porsche would not release the car until the end of August. For three months my car was 15 miles from my dealer and Porsche would not release it. The reason; Porsche in their German structured way wanted to deliver cars to customers that were to get their cars first according to the PVMS.

So mine sat for three months.

BTW, I owe you a dinner. Looking forward to us getting together again.

Would need to see both cars in the same color to tell which one might be more 'aggressive' looking.

I like how the additional width and definition of the rear really sets it apart from others.

The new scoops interrupt the flow of the lines of the car and they look cheap. I would rather have them painted in the same color as the car, but I don't see that as an option in the configurator. I feel the .2 rear looks may be lacking and best described as "Butt implant gone wrong!" Mark
Agreed.

Just saw the car in person this week at the factory. Only the Porsche cognoscenti will be able to tell which is which. To be honest they both look equally good but do not like the black plastic scoops. They look cheap and like add ons.

I love the .2. I never liked the snout on the .1, seems to me like it sticks out too far for a balance with the rest of the car. Front blinkers on the .2 are a big improvement and I think the shape of the front openings work much better with the overall design. The underbody black cover around the exhaust looks like an improvement and I think the scoops are fantastic.

People say Porsche reads this forum. If they do they will soon offer an option to modify the scoops. I think they would look great in body color, gloss black to match mirror trim and door handles, or, for twice the price in CF to match the mirrors. If Porsche doesn't do it, the aftermarket will!

Hi Nick....Hopefully you get some good news about your new car and not have a repeat of your last GT3 experience.
I am looking forward to the dinner and hopefully we get together soon. By the way I am going to do the master plus course at Barber motorsport again next month with my son. Just in case you Deciede to have some fun, they still have few spots open. Mark
