Full leather interior 991.2 GT3
How many of you guys plan to or have ordered full leather? It seems that option is $38xx and then there is another mandatory $15xx leather door option. So essentially leather interior is over $5300? Thats sounds like a lot! I would start a poll and let everybody vote, but I don't know how!

Full leather was only $1,095 on the GT4. I'm planning to skip it on the GT3 due to price. Don't think you need the extra door option though, btw. You still get leather on the top of the door panel and Alcantara elsewhere...
And while I liked full leather on the GT4, it's a bit of a bother to worry about water on the leather on the top of the door panel (pretty common if it's raining to get that wet - fewer worries with plastic...)

I always get a full leather interior because I like the look and scent of leather in my cars. The standard interior is fine, you just have to decide where your priorities lie, but the leather should not really be specified before other more functional options (i.e. front lift) are included.

I would probably only do the full leather interior if it eliminated the alcantara entirely. I hate Porsche's incarnation of alcantara and it would be worth it to get rid of that, but $3,800 to add a leather cover to the dash and the top of the doors seems kinda ridiculous. I actually love the look of the standard dash in my C2S. Just wish they allowed us to do all black gauges in the new GT3.

^The "Full Leather" option is fine. I would skip the extended dash board and the doors.
Also - are not all the gauges black??? I know the Rev meter is a lighter hue but what am I missing?

+1. Anyone seen a GT build where seat centers and door handles are leather? Would seem an easy wish to satisfy from factory.

I would do the full leather, but skip any extended leather. I think a $150k car should have leather. I am not a fan of the plastic dash and door panels that come with the standard interior. Basically, the msrp should be $3800 higher and include full leather IMO.

One other concern I had about the full leather option is whether the contrasting silver or red stitching on the dash tends to reflect in the windshield or not?

If I could do the standard interior with all black gauges and no alcantara anywhere, I'd pay extra for that. Manual gearbox, black exterior. Would be my idea of pure, classic Porsche.

Full leather here. I just don't get why red stitching requires the extra $1500 option.
I also thinking I might do the extra dash leather and steering column as I love the look of the extra stitching.

I guess most people prefer full and extended leather.
Is it just me who thinks a simple white exterior and spartan standard black interior (with buckets) can also have its own appropriate minimalist appeal in an otherwise raw sports car? I also think the alcantara is perfect the way it is.
