Full leather interior 991.2 GT3

Nick, are you talking about the plastic cubby that flips open in the doors? That will be covered in alacantara? I have never seen this in any 911 or Cayman so wondering if this is new for the 911.2 or we have incorrect info. Porsche charges a similar price tag just for alcantara sun visors and this seems like a large area for the price.

I am even more confused now because Nick was talking about the $690 door option. The area you are pointing to (the glovebox?) I thought became alcantara with the full leather option anyway.

Seriously, this is really not confusing, did you read the previous posts? He's not pointing to the glovebox, he's pointing to the little sliver which is visible when the door is shut... almost nothing. That little piece of plastic gets covered, only visible with door open. So, For the last time, this is what you get with the extended door package, nothing more, nothing less.
Honestly I have never looked at this part of the door.

You're correct the red stripe area will be black Alcantara with the option. The rest of the shaded green will be leather. Without the option all the green shaded areas will be Porsche plastic. Is it worth $690? Probably not. But the option does complete the entire leather interior. Why disrupt the flow of leather and alcantara with plastic?

Deleting/not choosing the redline on the steeringwheel makes the world of difference - alot better without IMO.
