First of all, yes I've searched. I still haven't found anything too definitive.

1) What are my choices for slicks on the RS? I do see a thread where GMG used 265/325 Hoosier's on 19" wheels in 9.5" front 12" rear. However this ratio seems to be pretty significantly off the OEM ratio on the RS. GMG turned all the systems off but did not say whether it would work with TC on.

It's been awhile since that thread so does anyone else have any experience for slick options on the RS?

2) Alignment and rake. I see another thread with setup numbers that is basically -2 to -2.5 camber front and rear, zero front toe and slight toe out rear. Would you do this on a track with lots of slow/medium speed turns on 1-2 higher speed turns? Porsche spec rake ok?

For 20/21", get a set of Trofeo-R's....they come in OE RS sizes. These tires are crazy sticky, and faster than the Cup-2's.

For 19's, the car really could us a taller rear tire, such as 325-35-19.......Hoosier does makes a 315-35-19 which works with a 265-35-19 front tire, perfect for a GT3. Most RS guys don't want to use a smaller rear tire though.

I will make this definitive

1) If you want slicks, you will run 19's, the ratio is off but that is how you will get the fastest lap times possible. We did do fine tuning on the rest of the suspension to run these successfully (I will not share the details, but something similar should be replicable by a knowledgeable race-prep shop).

2) If you want to keep your OEM wheel/tire ratio and want a quick lap time (not quite hoosier slick times, but close), you will run Trofeo R's. At Thermal they are good for 1-1.5 seconds versus PilotSportCup2's.

3) If you are willing to wait, there was a thread earlier this week where a member received word that Hoosier is in the process of making appropriately sized slicks for the OEM wheel/tire package. However, there was no firm ETA.
