You're lucky to have seasons.
Having only one gets tiresome.
People don't realize that. We all hate the sun in Southern California because it's so omnipresent.

Its funny. I lived in SoCal for 40+ years and always hated the lack of seasons. Moved to the Bay Area and loved actual change. Then started riding and HATED the rainy season. Can't win. Enjoy wherever you are i guess.

In today’s digital world, most things are temporary, transient, untreasured… how many of you saved your startac to go down memoery lane?

In today’s digital world, most ppl only care about efficiency, content, throughput… how many of you actually spent the time to brew a cup of real coffee, opened a book or magazine to read the articles, smell the ink and feel the paper?

Maybe I am old fashioned… well, really just OLD….

When I got my 000S subscription volume #8 with the annual holder, I decided to forget work and just sit and enjoy it….

Thank you, Pete Stout, for bringing this “thing (more than just a magazine, of course it costs a lot more than a magazine hahahaha) to me to help me slow down the daily pace and really just chill and enjoy the 000S, to read, to touch and to smell for the whole experience.

Oh… of course, Pete knows how to pick color: SIGNAL ORANGE to match my most recent acquisition.

Santa Barbara -- Gibraltar Road. Beautiful climb. Reminds me a lot of Col de La Madone.

Driving up the coast -- will do.

000 - really hitting stride. First few issues were amazing and the new issues keep it going - and now the articles can cite old issues (cf Anorak 001).

Very rare when an article can make you think you should possibly reconsider your opinion on soft-window targas and the color Bahama Yellow.

Also very rare thing in the world of Porsche where you spend $$$ and think : This is a huge bargain!

Mooty: time for another GT road trip but this time with Seasucker racks and each day ending at an epic ride location. Two birds; one stone!

First one has to be Carillo, not far from State Street, no?

Good memories of Gibraltar, which tested my college car pretty well. Can't imagine the ascent on a bike. Had to be a good feeling—and a fun ride down...

Also...many thanks, and glad you are digging 000! This is the kind of reaction we could only hope for. Have driven that Targa, although not on great roads. But the 2.0-liter S with no rear window was up there with the greatest sounds I've heard in a Porsche: CGT, 2.5 T/R, 2.2 MFI 914-6, SW 3.9, and a handful of others…
