Looks gooooddd.

ChrisF pic only shows 4 little tri-tips, so we know what mooty had. what about anyone else? |
the tri tips were not small... fed 10-12 people (along with some burgers)
pics on rennlist evidently make big things look small... reverse of tv/film cameras, which make tiny little people look big n fat chris f is master of tri tip... ready to go on world tour |
What a great weekend. Rode every day for a total of 207 miles. Prepped a bbq and injured wife executed flawlessly. Had good friends and new friends over to ride. Ate tri tip, salads, cookies (a LOT of them). All the while, my poor RS sat in the garage looking at me sadly as I passed through to empty the trash. That will be remedied soon with an epic road trip. Lots of pics of that to follow next week. Thanks Mooty and golfnutintib for gobbling down tri tip. I can always count on you for that. |
Looks fun guys! Catch you on the next one!

not many pic from this vantage point, enjoy. sunday "J9277655" and i will be on an epic ride monday - wednesday : Chris F, golfnuttib, trakcar, maybe spyerX and i on epic drive... with good food and discourse on value and stitching to satisfy the latest requirement of RL. pic to follow |
Similar plans:
- Tomorrow - start vacation - Sunday - ride a century around Lake Tahoe - Monday - dive-bomb down highway 50 back home to pickup RS - Monday eve - dinner in Carmel with a group of Friends, all met through RL for foodie meals and discussion of our cars relative values - Tues/Wed - drive the best roads in CA; eat the best food along the way; laugh my ass off - Thu - cry because I added 1000 miles to my RS, rendering it completely useless. One of these things I will not be doing. Guess. |

I tried MTB; couldn't get into it. Gravel bike on easy fire trails...maybe.

Hmm you’re skipping the 100 mile road ride to mtb some trails instead? That’s what I’d do. then i found out my collar bones, wrists and elbow seems to break when hitting rocks. and my helmet cracked when it met a tree as i roll off a slope.... now way too old for that. i did moah on HT back then. looking back, hell, i can't drop in 2' even with 8" bikes. getting old sucks |

There’s a degree of danger whether on or off road. Though, when your off, you’re in control vice some fluffernutter of a driver taking you out. I prefer the Mtns of SC and hills of L Seca for my kicks on a Kona SS. It should be a pleasant couple of days in the Monty area for those of you coming down. A whiff of heated air that shortly dies away when the wind changes from offshore. |
^ S-S....
i can't pedal that.. i need more mechanical advantage |
very tempting
