I'm all about the brisket. la BBQ I can't find does a pre order for lunch orders (big ones). will have my assistant call again. I've had both, both have pros/cons. There is another spot too I need to try my coworker told me about.

you can preorder at la bbq...I did it on my last trip to Austin earlier this year, but it was for a group of 8.

have you been to Kemuri Tatsu-ya? If not check it out. Japanese izakaya with a bbq twist.

I used to do what you still do, take the wheels off and clean/scrub the under fender.

Back in the old country we used to call that "escoba dive" (brush and dive in the under fender).

I see you are OCD as I am too. Have you tried ceramic coating the under fender, so it is much easier to clean by using power washer?

Drive safe,

I will be 50 in a year or so.
I think at that point, I will stop doing it.
I used to it much faster, now my back hurts. and I move much slower ugh.... over the fkg hill....
I don't like ceramic coating b/c they deteriorate at differential rate on different panels and over time you have to buff them off to re coat. I only do that on my daily drivers. they stay outside and I pressure wash, blow dry, followed with detailer and liquid wax every weekend. that takes 30min for a cayenne. but on the cars I care about, I just take my time and slowly do them. but I will try coating the wheel wells on my DD next.

Montrio Bistro will be your best $30-50 in the Monty Bay Area. Folktale Winery is nice for some eats and drinks if your into that kind of stuff. Cultura for late night mix drinks and tacos. About it really....

Forgot about Il Vecchio for some Italian.

A few places in the area...

Monterey Fish House. Good solid seafood. Semi-hole in the wall and off the beaten tourist trap areas.

Phil's Fish Market. Pretty good sized portions and fresh.

Jennini. Been here a few times and it never disappointed:

Passionfish. PG staple and well deserved.

I've eaten at Mission Ranch a few times and enjoyed myself; sunsets there are stunning.

It is also Clint Eastwood/NRA/MAGA approved, so deploy that information as you see fit.
