+1. Campy is great looking Italian hardware, but Shimano FTW. The price I paid on a new Porsche RS bike paid for the XTR gruppo and wheels -- the frame was free (though Mooty has argued it's not worth that). Nice to read input from others re: Specialized frames.

Definitely a group ride. 3 of us were riding a groups coat tail as they flew peleton style. The weather conditions were horrible (15mph winds, 60-70degree temp and rain thru the 1st 50miles) but running in the group helped a lot. I had never run such a pace through even 50miles so to do that over a 100 still shocked me. Not sure I could ever do better. Still pinch myself about it.

Go back to Shimano, SRAM is not at the same level. I tried using SRAM and eventually gave up.

This is why I can't ride with you....

And why aren't you on Strava? Too worried the competition will catch wind of your super-secret training regimen?

Lol, trying the lower fitting before I flip the stem, then the tube gets cut. So far I am liking the newer lowered drop bar.

one of the best remedy - if u r concerned about value:

just try hard to shred it. but its tricky to succeed as long the RS is so good in physics
