Why is that white bike's bar so wide and flat? Don't you bang your knees against it when riding?

i’m not sure I understand u
pink bar is wide and flat more aero
the other two bar are round
all at 42cm
i ride 52cm but I measure to 54cm
small felt better to me
i only run 100mm stem
bar has 15 mm stack. I can lower to 10mm without back hurting.
very small cockpit
I have toe overlap but knee clears bar. 10mm

I meant the bar that goes from the seat to the handlebars. (Not familiar with bike lingo.) Looks like a white wide horizontal plank. Wide and thin. Looked so wide that the inside of the knees may rub against it when riding. Why is it that shape anyway?

got it
u mean the top tube
no rub, I have .5” clearance with inside of knee

tube shape is designed by their engineers and rather complex. it needs to be stiff laterally, compliant vertically, aero and light wt. I do not know how they optimized the variables with the shape. but they spent a lot of time on that.

have had a lot of bikes. these are my fav

Did not get to meet the Miami friend, but had a good drive. Who says LWB are uncomfortable for long drives?
