993. I had an old long hood. Too much rust. As my rover friends would say I would galvanize my ***** if i could.

When the door gap opens up 1/2in when you jack it up, you know you might have an issue. You California people are spoiled. 🤣

Between the rust and fiberglass parts I am pretty sure my long hood Targa was down to lotus weight. When I sold it I remember thinking the aluminium engine lid was the only part that did not need work.

But if anyone has a 77 to back date with a hopped up MFI I am down. My Porsche friend and neighbor bought a 77 coupe recently and I have been eying it. If it were a Targa, he would have had a stack of cash immediately. He was shocked at how much the impact bumpers weighed. The 912 in the back ground is amazing. It’s down under 1800. 914 seats etc.

the republic of california has less rust.
that 912 sure looks good!
and I love 914 seats. look like **** but really comfy. way more than any of my RS buckets.
