Now's not the time to think what these cars are worth, my son just starting driving. Of course he needs to learn how to drive stick on something (wish it was a GT Touring instead)

Good on you for teaching your son to drive a manual. My father taught me to drive a manual (he had VWs from very early on, but had a Honda Accord DX (stripper model) by the time I was old enough to learn to drive), and taught me to drive in a suburban, and then how to tow and back up a 35ft trailer. Did the same with my sister although she skipped the trailer training I think. With that training, there was basically nothing I could not drive.

Nice having him along, now I have rolling pictures. He's got a fresh perspective and good eye.

Taught both of my sons in a 991.2 Targa 4S Irish Green. Fun stuff. Porsche's are surprising good to learn in. Beautiful car, handsome young man. Congrats.

Indeed. Taught my daughter stickshift via 911. Worked out fine except for the time she stalled the car in middle of intersection with passenger side (my side!) facing oncoming traffic. We still talk about it to this day.
