Nizer: Beautiful GT. Some great angles on that car. How does it compare to other cars you've owned? Also, what is current market on that? (j/k...I couldn't help myself)

Decided to subject myself to some torture today and did Mt. Diablo with a group of the riders also trained by my coaching group. I figured I'd be by far the slowest as most are Crit racers. Wasn't the slowest thank god! A few lessons today: 1. I've come a long way from the last time I climbed Diablo. Knocked almost 30 mins of my time! Still slow, but improving a lot. 2. The S-Works Tarmac is f'ing awesome. I rode my Domane SLR last time. The Tarmac climbed like a monster and descended like a raped ape. Sure footed and communicative. 3. Diablo is hot as ***** in July (news flash, I know). It was 100F at the summit with no shade or breeze. Overall, still a great ride. The group never discussed bike values once either!
I need to ur. with ur group
somwtime solo is boring

Would be curious of your 911R and Touring comparo. Put it on YouTube and we have a new Chris Harris. I’ve heard YouTube celebrities can pull down $1,000 a year.
I cannot understand anything. chris harris said on YT. I just do mit own test. why should
i trust someone else ! 911R > GT3T
why? don’t know but that’s what my butt meter measured. i have gt3T no R.

I hope Specialized is sending you commission checks for all the SL6s being sold in the NW based on your feedback
I never cared for specialized until I rode SL5. after that I have yet to ride anything hats af as good and all
others cost a lot more.

I like tarmac a lot. but I only want two
nuoes. with all the sensors on each bike i get very confused sync them. two is enough. i’m an idiot with electronics.

ChrisF - Nice ride up Diablo!
when will diablo be 70*?
we got to 85* at my hood it was quite a nice day for ride or drive

Well, we left at 930a. If it were my ride, it would be started earlier. 730a leave and you're up to the summit by 930a. 80F max. Otherwise, you do it winter/spring when it's not raining. Just cold and lots of fog. It's a solid climb. I think from base to summit is 3333'. Mostly moderate grades below the mooty "f-this-10%+-crap" index. Last climb to the parking lot is around 14% though but that's short and you get a photo op with that sign in my pic. LOL

Mmmmmm. Tri tip.
Min not good at taking good pictures. I tend to eat it first.
But. First night in San Sebastián. Pinxtos. Had some proper beef cheeks and pork belly too. And churro.
And a ham leg. Sadly Mooty store was closed.

I’ve been a lurker on this most enjoyable thread on driving/racing, cycling and food.

Here’s my contribution from this morning:

Parked at mountain bike trailhead. Anybody has a lead on rally suspension for my car? Planning to rallycross it as well as use for exploring mountain bike trails in the Pacific Northwest. My old Cipollini S-works road bike is now retired as a bike trainer.

Half way through Argentinian empanadas from one of fav food trucks.

Followed by roasted banana ice cream with fudge brownie bits.

Probe. It's a Ford Probe GT facelift. Still has the turbo engine too.
