man, totally missing out on all of the nice stops along I-5....

PS: i really liked Foxen Canyon Rd when I did a drive down to Santa Barbara a few years ago.
maybe take a route on the way back home that includes that.

there is only 1 worth making: buttonwillow raceway!

i have done foxen and all the roads in the santa ynez valley dozens of times. It’s a little out of the way of 33 tho. Definitely agree it’s a great road.

I'm not a big fan of the wineries at Foxen Canyon Rd, but just use them as an excuse to go for a drive there now and then, so always end up with a few bottles. Great road.

thinking about it now, you may have been one of the people who recommended that road when i was asking about good roads to hit down that way.

today looks like a nice day for a drive up here in the Bay Area.
though between World Cup and house stuff, i think a Home Depot trip may be my only drive today.

yeah.

Just Got to Atascadero. Never did 58. That was fun. 33 is epic. Not a single car for over an hour.

Which time? Lol

We stopped at the bottom of 33 before turning on the Lockwood. Speaking of which, Chris, did you do Cuddy Valley? If not that is equally epic.
