Know that road well. CGT there...no joke, if only for minding the clearance.

Nicely done.

And to think many sit in garages.

the clearance wasnt too bad. also went to cold spring tavern, that's a bit trickier.
we were on some other road, can't remember... THAT WAS FUN. i am not sure the Ring is that much better!!!
and those who haven't exercised their CGT.... man, sometimes you have to risk it and removed the cond*m once in a while.
it was fun...
i added 50% more miles on it then when i bought it ;-)

^ One day, I will take you on the road up to the location for the Excellence cover with the GT, GT2, GT3. No time, so took the back way and had to MOVE to beat the sun. Never scraped once, but the...well, I'd better not call them that...in the GT2 and GT3 were worried about scraping their brake ducts. While I am in a CGT. If they had just followed the line... But I waited up a few times. Bottom line: CGT can be used in real world, on real roads. But you have to have a spotter's eye. Think Rubicon, in 1/430 scale.

Anyone with a CGT who doesn't exercise it...this makes my heart sad. The coolest GT will be like the coolest F50 once dropped off. On Hoosiers with rock chips everywhere. It was almost enough to make me like it.

Great trip so far. Road you liked Mooty was Foxen Canyon. Riding shotgun in CGT reminded me why i love cars so much.

Tal: Yes, they do the event every year around the same time. This is my 2nd one in a row. My wife is on the local Team in Training group which rides for Leukemia / Lymphoma and raises money for the cause. She had an accident a couple of weeks ago and fractured her shoulder so she was just doing SAG and cheering today. Overall, the organization had 1000 riders at the event and raised $4.6M! Gotta respect that. It's truly a beautiful ride. The ride starts at 6200' so the altitude has an impact on some of the riders.
Sounds like a great ride for a great cause. Hope your wife heals up quickly

Altitude probably would suck the wind out of this midwestern flatlander. Would still like to do it someday
