Chiming in on the ridiculous of the ban. Alex is such an A+ guy, I actually chuckle at the thought of it.,, really, he got banned for that? Pretty sure everyone here is a big boy/girl and this would be offensive if i wasn't so sick of everything being offensive.
I agree with Mayur... ban the moderator who made this decision.

I think I will start a thread next week about my mini Mancation ROAD ATL - VIR - ROEBLING LOL. Should be leaving next Friday
Good times and too long ago when all we posted about was cheater parts, laptimes, beer drinking and other trackside shenanigans...

I was just at Road America this last weekend and was reminiscing about one of the mancation events a few years ago. Good times.
Now deviated stitching and PTS are more important.

I'm sorry to see CAlexio banned for that length of time, even if the rules are the rules. Hopefully the moderators can reduce the sentence. Otherwise, I wonder if they'd consider splitting the ban amongst willing volunteers. I'm happy to sign up for that duty if it'll help.

Some common sense should be applied here. No one argues rules were broken, but from a business point of view the site is much more enjoyable with his presence. Not having him here reduces the attraction of this site--and if he instead posts on another forum I'd be inclined to go there to read his posts.

1) The bobblehead 'doll' below, sans 'Confidential' figleaf,
is the actual one CAlexio posted on some thread here in
Rennlist which led to his 'ban'.

2) CAlexio informed me that "I was asked to add a
bobble doll instead of sportchrono by someone as
a joke, I posted a pic of this bobble doll..."

3) CAlexio was initially banned for 'nudity', as 'Il Pirata'
suggested in his post above. But I believe the actual
reason for the ban is becaused it pissed one or more
readers, who clearly interpreted the Trump bobblehead
'doll' as a political statement. And faced with complaint(s),
at least one moderator was apparently forced to act.

4) After CAlexio asked for clarification for his punishment,
he was informed by a moderator at Rennlist that his ban
has now been attributed to "infractions" rather than "nudity".

5) CAlexio was initially put 'On Temporary Vacation' by
a Rennlist moderator approx. May 11th or 12th (I believe).
I just checked moments ago & the moderators have him now
listed as 'Banned'.
And this change in status might be explained by what the OP
initially wrote:
Hopefully, we will received factual updates that will shed
more light on this modern-day 'Crime & Punishment' in
the next episode of 'As the Rennlist World Turns!'

It's a good thing that this place doesn't tolerate politics, but doesn't seem like the punishment fits the crime here.
You could appoint a special investigator, or maybe just warn him, let him back in, and carry the [expletive deleted] on...
