I'm in the process of building my GT3 and I don't see an option for the black wheels in gloss, only in matte black. I text the SA at the dealer where I have my deposit and asked how do I get the gloss black wheels option..... He replied and said that gloss black wheels come stock on the new GT3

I'm going to assume he pulled that out of his ****, lol. How do I request the gloss black wheels at build submission time?

Their not offered. Just get the Satin Black and have the painted a year later if you do not like them. I like the Satin over Gloss any way

Gloss is a nightmare. Water spotting, shows scratches easily, etc. There's a reason why they're not offered in black.

Wheels painted colors other than what's offered on the configurator (satin black only), such as gloss black or anything else you want, would be a custom tailored wheel option from Porsche Exclusive, which they just told me is available. Approx $4400 USD (exact price TBD by mid June), and then you can have them painted any color you want, including option to have stripe in any color too, like gloss black wheels with silver stripe or yellow stripe, etc.

Good point about water spotting and scratches. I'll stick with the satin black wheels and maybe add a white pin stripe to match the white paint.

I am getting the satin black wheel with the GR stripe but have steel brakes. Is brake dust very noticeable on satin black?

^No- hides dust really well

I gotta disagree on this. I don't think any wheel color really hides heavy brake dust well. I still notice brake dust on black and platinum wheels, turns the wheels a dingy brownish hue. Doesn't change the absolute color of the wheel as much as a silver wheel for sure, but it's still really noticeable and looks awful.
