The people who take what's said on the net seriously are the same one that miniature golf seriously.

No problem. I have had some memorable posts, like the time I photoshop'd a 991 GT3 RS to let everyone know how I would have improved it. It took a while before it dawned on me that I had insulted half the forum.
Sorry!

headline is not that correct...
jethro said it this way: if you paid 500k+ for an R than you are an "idiot".
in my opinion: everybody who paid 190-300k for an R - does have a winner in the garage!

I thought you bought an R? Personally I don't want one period. But that's just me.

Based on the hardware differences, one can be imo fairly sure the dual clutch/e-diff car will be a very different car to the R to drive. For all anyone knows, it's possible and perhaps probable even that the manual .2gt3 might feel significantly different due to differences in chassis tuning/ecu programming.

Hard to call anyone an idiot when they are throwing around 500k for cars. Chances are they have done a few things right.

How are you so sure of that? I assume it's unlikely you have ever driven the R nor is it likely that you have driven the .2 gt3 yet.

It's possible the GT3 is a better driving experience (whatever that means) given what reviewers have written. I was trying to be kind to the R.
