Default CQuartz Finest RESERVE, on a 911R, @ Shine Auto!

We see many Porsche's come through our facility on a weekly basis. It takes something very unique to catch our attention in the world of Porsche. This Sport Classic Grey, 911R did just that! Boasting a whopping 500hp and a 6-speed manual gearbox, what is there not to like about this Porsche?

This vehicle has been fully protected with paint protection film. I'm sure you're wondering by now what we are doing with this gorgeous piece of automotive machinery here at Shine. We are applying CarPro's newest ceramic paint coating, CQuartz Finest Reserve. This new coating has a longer life expectancy (3-5 years) and a higher gloss finish than its predecessor.

Since this vehicle has paint protection film already applied to the entire vehicle, we completed a preliminary wash to get rid of any dirt/debris from driving.

The next step in the process is a light polish to get rid of any decontaminates that might be on the paint protection film's surface. Once the film has been lightly polished we can proceed with the coating process. CarPro's product called Eraser is used to remove any residue or oils that may have been left over from the cleaning and polishing process. After all of the prep work has been done it is now time to apply Cquartz Finest Reserve!

Check out the images below to see the results from the work we had put into the 911R! This vehicle will stay looking "freshly waxed" for several years to come. Also, the coating makes maintaining the vehicle super easy between regular maintenance washes. Please feel free to send us an email or give us a call to inquire about your Porsche today!

Side note: Check out this awesome interior color combo. Houndstooth all the things!

Now that's a clean car!!

I'd be scared to drive it after that.

Seems like a lot of effort to go thru on a car with an out of date motor.

I heard there is a PPF out there now that already has a coating applied??? Would make sense if covering your whole car going this route now

Yeh- My Detailer has been testing the CQuartz Reserve. I believe he said it is more than Modesta. There comes a point when the laws of diminishing returns kick in.

The colour combination on the wheels and calipers >.<

If i could à la carte a Porsche those are the kinds of touches I'd make, but they won't let normal people do that because 'reasons'.

Us mortals don't have that kind of pull...we have to accept the table scraps.

The motor in my CGT is outdated too. I think it was made in the 90s, only to be benched and then reused again in 2004. By my count, it's over 25 years old!

Have C Quartz Finest on my .1gt3 and plan on getting it again with the Reserve on my .2gt3. I like the product, worth the price of admission, atleast for me.

Except that Porsche never put the CGT engine in any other cars just like they never put the 997 4.0L engine in any other cars. Hence why I'll always value a CGT and 4.0L RS more than the R.

Unfortunately I've already had my fill of turbo cars to last a lifetime....NA or bust!
