If the GT3 goes Turbo one day I will most likely just stick to a previous gen. NA or bust.

Great stuff and most of us have to go through the kids college days, just part of life. Can't wait to see your PTS choice, but something tells me you'll eventually be back in an RS.

Is the .1 GT3 really that unreliable? I see plenty of them at track days doing lap after lap without an issue, I think this forum exaggerates the issue.

Can't find fault with what AP is doing, just finished track day #11 for the car in the first 6 months, still amazing, still passes everything like it's standing still except Cup cars, pulled on an R35 GTR in a straight line today too...spectacular car.

Me too. I don't ever plan to buy a turbo GT car.

I have really enjoyed GT2s in the past, and there is something about the 993 GT2 that makes me need one badly. Such a cool car, turbo lag and all. That said I don't see getting a modern turbo GT, even one as wicked as a GT2 RS. Hybrid, or maybe even full electric? I can't discount the possibility...

Also a huge AP fan here! According to a recent interview with PistonHeads: https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-driven/porsche-911-gt3-manual-review/36190

We all need to support AP and buy manual GT3s!!!!! There's one line where he refers to manual transmission uptake: "If it's less than 20 per cent then I'm in trouble."

Clearly by the sounds of it AP stuck his neck out on the line for us enthusiasts, so let's show him some love! For those of you on the fence go MANUAL and show VAG you support AP!!! Heck even if some of you PDK guys like AP, do him a favor and pick up a manual, you can always sell it to me later

I'll tell you what. If Porsche gives me an allocation, I promise I'll take a MT.

I met him at RRV too. A real gentleman, completely approachable, and sincerely interested in speaking with Porsche fans and owners! Keep up the good work, Mr. Preuninger and co.!! (if you or your team are reading this)
