I think Chris really liked it. If there was less enthusiasm, it could be that it is a .2 and not going from 997 to 991. So the leap just wasn't as big. Still, he clearly liked it a lot imo.

The only reason for an RS owner to trade for the. 2 GT3 would be for the Manual.- agree

But you would not be trading down but possibly up in this instance. To not admit that this engine is Superior to the one in the RS just proves why this forum has been going down hill. It shows how many bought the RS for bragging rights and to satisfy their egos as " King of the Hill"

I am a huge car enthusiast and so far, it looks like this new engine is a leap foward and It will be tweaked and make its way in to the .2 RS. I am so happy for this new developement because this bodes well for all us NA enthusiasts.

It is great if one finds the styling better is the RS compared to the GT3. I prefer the GT4 styling over both the others but there no denying the power and potential of this new engine as it appears.

This trading down **** is so disrespectful

Agree. A lot of insecure RS owners.

The .2 RS will certainly be better than the .2 GT3, so it's not a big deal that for a short time the .2 GT3 will be the best Porsche GT car available.

Hey Buddy. No need to apologize.

Would you tell your Buddy your Wife is prettier than his or to some one you just befriended?? I bet you would not say that to me if you met me at a bar

Opinions are fine and people are not sensitive here but we do not disrespect Owners here. We are all enthusiasts here and share a passion.

Astrofan, I guarantee that there will be .1 RS owners who trade for a .2 GT3 because they see the new car as latest and greatest. Then they will trade those for the .2 RS which will be the next king for the day.

Circle of life, don't fight it. Just buy it.

Side note: anyone wonder how many times he puts it in the ditch getting those perfect drift shots?

^ I said that 30 days ago.

You will see a .2 RS with a Manual option.

Even the .1 RS guys will have a difficult decision whether to go Manual.

I think Chris is growing weary and is running out of superlatives in his reviews and is burned out on cars. That prior wet drift BS review was an indication.

That being said, that video was amazing and shows how fast and far these cars have come. As said before, the evolution has become much more.

Certainly an epic car. Typical CH review with all the drifting. I'm trying to be patient and play the game.

I think Top Gear has ruined Harris.

He was much more genuine and endearing when he was solo. His .1 GT3 was basically him and a GoPro, and he could just say and do what he pleased.

Now he's got BBC muzzling him.

Too bad.

It does look like a nice car, though, which does not help!

You may not need a 4.2L. They can squeeze 30 plus more hp out of this one. A little fufu dust and you got a killer

The GTRS2 will be the Turbo t o beat on the track
