I think just as shocking is that the 991.2 GTS appears to 1 second quicker than the 991.1 GT3...

I like at the end how they explain the weather and Temp conditions were ideal for the run. Gives them an excuse in case someone else goes faster(or just as fast) in a current GT3rs or a .1 GT3 under the same conditions. So 25 more HP, a little more aero equals 12 seconds faster then the .1 GT3 ? I guess that 911R rear diffuser really does work, glad I put one on my car..lol
I thought at a fast track like the Ring that more aero could actually hurt, hence the AMG GTR's(and I think the Huracan) time with way less aero than any Porsche GT car.
Edit: my aero thought at the Ring shows on the .2 GTS also since it has less power and less aero than the .1 GT3 but is 1 second faster.

well said "Richard" until the 991.2 GT3 RS is tested and then again when the 991.2 GT2 RS is tested.

GT2 RS is a different car in a different price bracket, no doubt it will be the fastest of all but this just shows how superior the new 991.2 GT3 engine is, having way Less AERO than the 991.1 GT3 RS

Irrelevant, a GTS with an exhaust, tune, and suspension will leave the gt3 looking for 'waldo the GTS'.

Don't forget driver confidence, the .2 has more "safe" understeer built in and i believe softer suspension.
