PDK Fluids
For those who are using their GT3 or RS regularly for track duty are you doing anything different than the 48K / 96K guidelines for PDK fluid changes? AKA - Has anyone changed the fluids, when and why?
Thanks.

Trak Car has. I think at around 10K. They were also done on my car along with a bunch of other accelerated maintenance around 6K
I can't speak for Peter but it I can't see a downside to early fluid changes on a car that sees any track time. That's the way I've always treated my cars and it's served me well.

Chris - Thanks. Did you do just the hydraulic fluid or also the gearbox oil?

I'd have to check but pretty sure both.

I did both PDK oils @ 10K miles and will continue to do at each mandatory annual service interval, its a proper raping but, why not @ 40 or so track days a year..
In between I only change motor oil and filter every 6 track days.

Thanks Trakcar. That's what I was looking for - document and advice.

My PDK runs HOT at the track. Cool down laps drop the temps by 50 deg. Is there a better fluid to use? Higher heat dissipation? I already lost one PDK (warranty replacement) but just want to prevent another. Also, they make a PDK cooler but I am not sure. Clubsport cars come with a PDK cooler.

Trakcar, awesome of you to post the invoice. They really stick it to the GT cars on the air filters! By comparison the pdk fluid and oil seem like a no brainer for a car on the track. Man, to have 40 track days per year!
