^^ I don't agree. Sold the latest GT3 and RS because I didnt enjoy it as much as i thought i would with PDK. Drove around in the GT3 for aabout a year with 10k km but found it no where near as exciting as the 997.2 GT3 was.
Didn't drive the RS that much tbh but sold it because it felt very similar to the GT3 on the road. Maybe its because there aren't many twisty roads nearby.

Will let you all know how the manual .2 compares in terms of driving enjoyment on the road when i drive it.

I traded my 991.1 RS towards a '73 RS; felt was a better long term investment. I plan to move into .2 GT3 w/manual to replace my daily (C4S); holding out for hype to fade once they start landing in showrooms.

Who can put a number on the enjoyment this car brings them? If I end up losing $50k to drive this car for 2 years then so be it. I'll do it again with the next one if I have to.
+1

I just drove a GT car for the first time in Vegas - 991RS - and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm astounded that anyone who's driven one in anger can fret about ADM if they have the means to afford one.

Even pulling up the pit lane it felt special and worth every penny. I hope to own one in a year.

Should be a special exception that you're always allowed to hijack threads with 73rs content.
Congrats on getting a dream car.

Now that's a special RS. To that I will say "that RS is an RS".

Wow I can't blame you for making that swap! Congratulations and please don't apologize. Do you plan to drive it at all?

This is a good question and it looks that most wouldn't think of it. Unless they want a manual bad. I wonder if everyone would feel this way still if the head/lifters/oil issue was showing up in the RS motors like it did on 14-15 gt3.

Im on the list for a msrp gt3.2 but would consider a UV RS if one came up at the right price.

Thank you guys! I am so excited; have owned a ton of Porsche's over the years; decided to stop tip-toeing around and get what is to me, the pinnacle and most-iconic 911. And yes, I will drive it! For sure! This one is a keeper for me.

We will see a lot of moving cars over the next 18months.

991.2gt3
991gt2rs
991.2rs
Maybe gt4rs?

A lot of cars will change hands back and forth. Great time to be a car enthusiast.
