If they make a Manual RS, that will be interesting (AP will have to re-define for us what RS means).

Can anyone read the N number designation on the tires?

Look at the spliter in the front and side view looks the same as .1? I would have assumed it would be the new shark like frontend? Also can't tell if the wing is higher by visual.

Same here. Other than the taped over hood vents, front bumper, etc. same as .1 RS. Even down to the 4x4 ride height... (Note to Porsche - please find more room in the wheel wells...)

If they didn't change the wheels for the GT3, doubt they would for RS. However, they should make the Mag wheels from the 918 Weissach package an option (or maybe they're doing that with GT2RS)...

Looks like a .1RS to me based upon the tail lights.

Yeah, the TUV is really strict (and they have to be with unlimited speeds, few things worse than catastrophic wheel failure)...

I'm sure CF wheels are safe almost all the time, but when it breaks, it tends to shatter...

Koenigsegg 1:1 has CF wheels rated up to 280 MPH. Carbon fiber has superior tensile strength and specific strength versus high-grade forged aluminum alloy. Carbon fiber specific strength is an order of magnitude greater than aluminum alloy, and has 8x stronger tensile strength.

Also, the centripetal forces experienced by the wheel are far less due to the ~50% weight reduction over their aluminum alloy counterparts. F=MA. There's an Australian company that makes continuous fiber CF wheels, and they are among the strongest wheels in the world currently.

Last I read, the Aston Martin Valkyrie will be riding on "alloy' wheels. One has to wonder why a car that is touted with near F1 levels of performance is not coming with carbon fiber wheels... You would think all newer higher-end cars would at least have them as an option.

Don't know why, but wish I did.

Or the Bugatti Chiron. I suppose the prospect of a hidden micro-fracture in a wheel at 261 mph would be enough to keep anyone awake.
