True, but the differences are slight compared to the differences between a GT3 and a Carrera.

Sometimes I think RS is a mantra, something Waxer says three times each morning and night so the world seems settled.

As someone who is not afraid of undertaking stupid expensive and unnecessarily complex custom projects (I had to engineer and prototype this front end on a custom bike I'm building)... your project is giving me the itch to go out to buy a used RS and do the same thing.

Can't wait to see your progress... every magazine and YouTube channel is going to want to cover your car.
Appreciate the love, I will do my best to keep it updated with all the info on the build moving forward.
That is an awesome looking bike build, please link the build page if you have one. I enjoy watching people's creativity come to life and if you decide to scoop up a used RS I will help with any info you need.

Thanks again and I hope it does get some attention from the popular mags and channels, I put out some emails to some very popular Porsche reviewers and am awaiting confirmation dates for video reviews.

Wow, what a project. Would love to hear more details about what's going into this project and just what an undertaking it is...

Thanks and will do, over the next couple weeks i'll have more stuff to put up. I dont want to prematurely post inaccurate info before its installed and correctly functioning to misguide anyone so as the build moves forward ill put the info up, thanks for the interest.

Great job bro! Go for it! I too am fiddling around trying to get more performance for my RS even if a 991.2 gt3 or a cup car is a better base car to fiddle with I think just go with what makes you happy! You are a hero! I am very curious how the ecu will be affected if anything.

I asked myself the same thing and so did the shop doing it, I have an allocation for a october build manual .2gt3 but an RS is a RS, I am a fan of the RS cars from day one and with what the dealers want over sticker for the .2 I might end up passing on it if they dont re-think they're gouging. I figured with the little depreciation 991.rs have seen plus the cost of the new car i'd rather put the money into having a unique RS build that would kind of set the path for others who would like to do the same. As for the warranty part.. kinda just said f it.
Lol that took some *****. The only car better than a manual GT3 is a manual RS period. I wish you all the best and hope you complete the transformation soon.
We are all waiting anxiously for the video clip GT3 R....S+

Here's a man who looked at Porsche in the eyes and said, F*** you!
What would be equally awesome would be to drop this same PDK unit into a GT4 as a second project.
Bravo! (No sarcasm here.)
Agree with others...this is the best thread in a long while.

That's the good kinda crazy OP.
I'm so excited!

It used to be with regular intervals, yet lately not so much...
Great to follow a thread that makes me feel completely normal again.

You want it something, say f@ck it and just make it happen

Finally. Don't forget to check if the pulley for the lwfw, check if in the R is different.

P.S. I never saw the tacho mod coming, never thought about it, good attention to detail.

Insanity! I love it!
Question, are you forced to change the diff as well? or is there a conversion kit of some sort that you are designing?
