Ultraviolet Discontinued?

I think most of the more extreme colors only work on a GT car , but not on any other regular modern 911 as it looks like they're trying too hard.
For example I hate red (either GR or CR), on a regular 911 carerra, but love red on the GT3. Same with racing yellow, ultraviolet, viper green, etc.

'Oranges' & 'Oranges'...
by side with same camera.
I have not yet seen 'Gulf Orange' in person.
Not my favorite 'orange' by a long shot. Color
is currently approved for PTS at PAG. Color
code # 019. Photo taken from a Rennlist post:
****
'Signal Orange' early 911. Color code 116. Photo taken
by me at an R Gruppe meet. Probable a repainted car
but I believe faithfully reproduced the original 'Signal
Orange' color. Feasibility study done on this color within
last year & rejected by PAG.
***
'Continental Orange'. Color code 107. Photo from internet since
I have not taken one yet in person. Feasibility was done within
last two years & rejected by PAG.
***
Only other solid/uni 'Orange' color currently approved
by PAG as PTS is 'Pastel Orange', color code Z17. Photo
taken by me in 2012:
I like this 'Pastel Orange' color better than 'Gulf Orange',
but that is just a very personal opinion!

Lapis' RS photos came over very dark for me, so I took the liberty of editing it to show how great Ultraviolet looks on an RS with Silver Wheels.

I'd like to see that purple metallic that someone here posted...I find UV too flat looking to my eyes.

kyrocks,
Continental Orange aka BlutOrange was available all the way up to 993-era cars. Great color. Shame it's no longer approved.
Having seen all these colors in person,
Gulf: Has a lot of white in it, very pastel
Signal: A lot of yellow
Continental: Very red, looks like Ferrari Rosso Dino
Pastel: I would say the most neutral
