Thanks!
WAIT! We put you in charge of this and you don't have their addresses...

I had a factory unlimited mileage 5 year warranty on a Golf, and yes I abused it.
Repairs over the 220K miles I had it would have cost more than the car.
Will add my name when 982/991.2 RS's valve train also fails.

In EU and ME plus some others places
a warranty extension up to 13 years is already doable
premium is due on a yearly basis

It would be greatly appreciated if you can provide sources for this info. Thank you.

Hi Rob,

Consider sending these gents a copy with cover note explaining that there's a US grass-roots movement coming together (Facebook page coming soon with lurid pictures of worn cam followers ... international chapters expected to follow).

Ask for the mailing address of their opposite number in PR at the home-office.

I suspect they might pass it along ...

Christian Koenig – Vice President, Public Relations 770-290-3840 christian.koenig@porsche.us

Bernd Harling General Manager, Public Relations (770) 290-3690 bharling@porschecars.com

Porsche Cars North America, Inc.

Guys, thank you for sending me your info. Assuming the response level continues at the current pace, we should meet our goal of 100 members by tomorrow or Monday, at the latest. The goal is to put a final version of the letter out on Monday, and then mail it out by the middle of next week. No need to wait longer, especially if we already have the numbers.

Just asking something crazy--but why don't you just sue them?

Oh ok...kill them with kindness.

I wonder if they think the same.

We'll see.

Quick update everyone. We are getting close to half our goal of members, including people across the USA, Canada, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and multiple members of the EU. This is truly a global effort now.

I would also like to thank the members who have added their names to the cause, even though they personally can extend their warranties up to 9 years. That's the RL spirit!
