Hi all,
We are getting a bunch of messages and inquiries about the Fall Smokies event as well as seeing posts about it. It's in mid September and is already sold out. It's a smaller event. Only 30 cars with no fanfare. We have no capacity to handle more than that for dinners, etc.


We already have a waiting list 15 deep as well. Sorry we can't accommodate everyone but fall, by design, is meant to be a very different type event vs the blowout that spring is. We do no fundraising, have no sponsors, and it's just a chilled out get together.

Everyone at the fall event is a past attendee of a smokies event.

almost everyone who attended last year just rebooked their same room for this year before they left in September 2016.

We dont really advertise the fall event as the demand far outstrips the supply. But many have heard about it and so we just wanted everyone to know the situation.

Planning two events the size of the spring each year would not be possible.

As Sean states, the Fall event has no fanfare and we do spend a fair bit of time planning for the following spring event. We still have a lot of fun driving and also relaxing around a fire and discussing important issues...something like this...
