At the end of the day,no matter how you slice it and which angle you're looking from,it all comes down to this : an RS is an RS! LMAO!

Cant wait for the .2RS!

Only reason to pay more for a.1RS at this point is resale value down the road.
Its the same as with the 997 GT3, the .2 is always better / faster than the .1RS.

I was expecting great reviews and they delivered.

.2GT3 is a great replacement for .1GT3
.2GT3RS will be a great replacement for .1GT3RS

I personally don't see non-RS being a replacement for an RS (personal opinion).

I do see RS replacing RS.

NOW, if I had a .1GT3 then I'd have to give serious consideration to .2GT3.

Will I buy .2GT3RS to replace .1GT3RS--you bet.

Will I buy .2GT3 to replace .1GT3RS--no.

Here's a question, and just pretend that the 991.1 GT3 does not exist.

The 991.1 RS is actually called the GT3, and the 991.2 GT3 is called the RS. The MSRP for the "new" RS is about $40K more. What will you purchase?

But it does exist so kinda silly.

What if R is called RS and this is called that....can go on forever.

Once you've driven RS you know RS is RS.
Never replace RS always add.
GT3 is special but RS is more special.
Once you've gone RS you can never go back.

I see what you try to say but. As waxer says RS is RS.

The biggest difference is that RS used to be more unique.

991rs is a new ball game. Better, faster, more livable and more cars made.

Little less RS. But, still RS.

I guess this also does not bode well for those not wanting to pay a mark-up on the .2 GT3

Spoken like a true GT4 owner LOL.

I think the people that should be concerned are those with .1GT3's as that's what is being replaced, not RS.
