The initial car in chalk is a manual!

Check out what Walter Rohrl thinks about the car (English) and PDK vs Manual.

His interview starts at 8:20

My German isn't great, but from what I can make out, I think I heard 'primer' and 'clear coat'...

Seriously, looks better than I thought it would.

Watching him switch to MT was brutal. Clearly he wasn't enjoying it. He looked awkward and uncomfortable like a fish out of water.:roll eyes:

He basically said car matches PDK and not manual.

The Dutch said it's too fast, too whatever same crap AP told us.
But for many it is too much to rev match properly, shift etc and stay out of the wall.

I mean a slip of the clutch foot and hang on!!
He said something to the effect of being overwhelmed in the manual.

He's probably right in that sense, especially when you're really chasing lap times. I personally don't have that problem because I'm very slow even on the track. But I'm having a ton of fun and that's all that matters to me.

OP: Thanks for posting this video.

First decent footage I've seen of a chalk car. I'm debating between Chalk and Carrara White for the Sport Turismo I'm about to order as soon as allocation becomes available. Having seen this, I'm now leaning towards chalk.
