Question: when will the configurator show/allow deviating stitch in other colors. Some have stated that choosing this option will also coincide with a delete of the LWB stripe.

I was told that deviated stitching will be available for November builds.

That is what I "heard" as well. My question is when does this "theory" turn into actionable reality. Is it possible it never makes its way to the configurator and you just need to work with your SA?

My information came from Porsche Exclusive. I think you can reasonable rely on that.

I'd imagine that it's 100% PDK given that the order book for MT won't be open until September.

Two tone leather? Things may change down the line but for now there are no plans of non-black interior unless you go through CXX. You can do red, brown, beige interiors, etc with CXX.


I don't see all the orders but I've seen over 20 confirmed submitted orders so I can gauge it only on a smaller but decent pool. Although MT is not available until September onwards build (which is only really affecting the July builds this time around), most allocations through end of December has already been submitted.



So far the data is slightly off due to the fact that only PDK builds for all July allocations. About 50-50% on PDK vs. Manual. If only calculating with September through December submitted builds, its roughly 65% manual and 35% PDK.

And even that may be skewed. I have a Nov build in the system for PDK-S which was essentially placeholder config data submitted even before the MT date was set. The lock date is far enough away that I haven't revisited that although I know I will be changing several things before lock, most notably flip to MT

I'm looking at an early summer build (May-early July 2018 build) and so was wondering when those allocations might be released.

Per usual PCNA/PAG fashion, the third round of GT3 allocation will be released in January for April/May through July/August production. Of course, I have to say this is non-confirmed and even PCNA people do not know for sure. GT allocations are sometimes more sporadic and deviate from planned schedules. Will know more after second round allocation comes out.

I've heard things but nothing to confirm at the moment. November onwards builds are the understanding but how they will implement it, I cannot confirm at this moment.

Any ETA on the .2 RS?

Having just sold my GT4, I'm looking for something new .. .2 GT3 or .1 RS are appealing; but if the .2 RS would be presented this year, waiting seems like a good idea. I'm not US-based, so I don't have to kill 20 virgins to get an allocation ...
