We're on exactly the same page. Kinda why I haven't totally discounted these rumors.

VW says make money, we need lots of money. Sell anything you can. All Porsche needs to is keep the demand fever high by trickling out the "product" in whatever configuration necessary to generate sales. MT RS will be APs favorite within a year.

David: I was there for the 2011 24 Heures du Mans at Circuit

Ok, I'll expand the role of Winterkorn to give you more
camera time. I trust you are a member of the Screen
Actors Guild, right! Robert Duvall told Sccchiii he might
be interested in the lead role of Ferdinand Piëch! It's all
very exciting...we are going to Hollywood!

You are welcome, although we have folks here that

So you think the OP is failing to respond to your
inquiry on the 991.2 ST 4.2 because 'Chaosoul'
finds Sgroer (post #707), Werner-E (post #718),
Lnc993 (post #223) & mcsmcs1 (post #728) on
the topic of PTS objectionable? Or is it that YOU
think Chaosoul doesn't like my responses to these
PTS questions & thus is staying away?

And this brings us to a more fundamental question.
Who is going to decide who should post on any given
thread here on Rennlist? Is it you, Throttlesteerer?
Are you the self-appointed arbiter in these matters?

But for the wedding of two good friends, I would be there this year! Driving up to Door County, WI from Chicago on Thursday. Hoping to recreate the avatar or member "fskof," as well.

I can't complain, the bride has moved the wedding date twice to accommodate (1) Car Week and (2) Le Mans (wedding is Friday; many attendees are hanging around to watch the full 24 together over the weekend).

Rather worryingly, John Hindhaugh has hinted during several recent MWM shows, as well as their Road To Le Mans preview show, that Porsche may exit LMP1 after 2017. I fear this recent tweet from John Dagys may reference the same topic:

I have a friend whose honeymoon falls over this week and weekend; they are attending the race, and inquired re: Porsche Customer Hospitality. Unfortunately, Porsche is not offering customer hospitality for 2017, here are the details for last year: http://www.porsche.com/specials/en/m...st/lemans2016/

Further, I have another friend who I met at Porsche's Sebring hospitality who is attending this year; he has Ligier hospitality.

Oh wow, now LeMans. Really?

Is there an agenda here?
Sure not to respectfully leave this a Q&A thread around the threadstarter/owner.
(or will this lead to ask him about the result of the coming race)

I think the personalities of certain people have become clear.
Will stop to argue about this now.

Needless to say, initially Porsche had promised him that his car was one of one in that colour.

The other one gets to have significantly more fun with its owner...

Funny you mention Door County - - I'm sitting in a cottage in Fish Creek as I type this. Where is the wedding and where are you watching Le Mans?

Wedding in Egg Harbor; viewing at a family house of the groom's. There will be several GT3s present (or at least owners), and a new Ford GT (if he drives it up).
