"Build date allocation of late September". Is this the "Vehicle Fixed" or "Vehicle entry into body shop" date? The former date for me is 09/15 and the latter date is 09/29. Manual an option for me?

Neither, the even later one: Vehicle exit production. Your build month is in October.

You should be able to choose it and submit with no issues.

Do you know why we're so far behind? Will that impact available allocations for us?

Historically it's that way for cars introduced at Geneva, but it's not that bad if it's going to be May. There are already a set amount set for Canadian market anyway. If it's slip to June, it just means we can order manual cars right away with late September production allocations.

2 years ago for the GT3RS, I ended up with a late June production and car arrived at dealer end go August.

Same thing last year with 911R, but I swapped the production slot in June to December.

Count me in -- would love to know if it will be offered and, if so, what, in addition to wing delete, such a "package" would consist of.

Thanks for all the insights provided to date. So helpful!

Think 1 more specialty car from GT department

What else am I missing?
The 'exclusive car' is being launched early June. Lots of invites to the event have gone out this week. Seems like the 'new yellow' color will feature, and that it may be 'liquid'.

Yea. Saffron Yellow Metallic is more like a pearl yellow, but not to the liquid phase yet. Its a 4 layer paint with intermediate sanding. Similar colors from other brands are Giallo Triplo Strato from Ferrari, Giallo Orion from Lamborghini, and Solarbeam Yellow from Mercedes. It may feature an even slightly more vibrant color than those listed above. It'll be available on the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S with exclusive cost.
