Most dealers have vendors that will paint your calipers whatever color you like for around $600. I understand it doesn't require the removal of the caliper.

Thanks. I know I can paint it myself but wanted to have it painted from the factory. I want to have them in yellow so maybe instead of paying this crazy money it would be better to order PCCB and swap rotors for iron.

I recently bought a Turbo S and had the calipers repainted to a bright green. They were removed from the process, stripped of original paint and then painted in Birch. The brakes needed to be bled but I have no doubt that this significant and utter important safety component looks and functions properly. I have heard of overspray occurring onto the rotor when done without removal for the process. Safety first.

What color is that car? ^^^
I've known a handful of folks that tried and failed to get the calipers painter via exclusive (including the 997.2 4.0 RS in maritime many have seen). It much easier to just do it aftermarket and not very hard to make it equally as durable. If you buy red and paint them yellow, I imagine most folks will wonder what else you're trying to fake on the car. If you want yellow, pay up and go PCCB. If you do paint them aftermarket, just pull the caliper from the car. It's not that difficult and you won't risk any overspray issues (mainly throughout the wheel well). I imagine overspray on a rotor gets scraped and cooked off in no time. Just my $0.02

I'm sure it can be done through Porsche exclusive. There are many things that can be done through Porsche exclusive that we never see. Why? Partly it's because people are not aware of the possibilities. Another reason is that once you learn the cost of almost everything through Porsche exclusive, you lose interest. For example, I inquired once about having the rear badge painted. Porsche exclusive said sure, but price was well over $5000.

Best of both worlds really: larger diameter iron brakes for higher performance than the standard iron brakes, lower running costs if you put a lot of wear on them while tracking, and they preserve the yellow calipers factory PCCB look, although of course it's obvious to the naked eye that the discs are iron not ceramic since they're slotted.
See links here for the front and rear Girodisc sets.... also need to buy the brake pads for them.
