The 991 GT3 RS, on the other hand, I've learned was a "removable respray" done by a third-party. The owner did not mention that bit when I was first informed about the car.
Thanks! so you mean that this 991 gt3 rs is not an original viola metallic but an after sale non Porsche color right?

These removable sprays are incredible. Better protection than the wraps, easier to apply.. and infinite color choice as everything is mixed per spec. No need to remove parts to apply unlike vinyl and looks like paint. Amazing stuff

Removable sprays DO NOT offer more protection at all. Traditional PPF from Expel, Suntek, 3M etc is the strongest from a protection stand point.

The sprays have a lot of negatives:

Overspray, gets in places you don't want it (i.e. cracks of body panels etc)
Protection: stone chip protection isn't anywhere near as strong as PPF or a wrap
Removal: Nightmare to remove

You should go for whatever makes your ***** tingle, but since you asked... my impression is that very loud colors work on an RS, where more toned down ones work on the relatively more humble gt3. This is as loud as it gets.

As many others have said - light colors don't work well on the 2RS, save it for the 3RS and go something darker.
