wdr911, thanks, that's more what I would have expected (smaller difference when you look at a whole car) based on photos of other cars in Chalk, which I think look a lot like Fashion grey to me. The photo by sechsgang seems to highlight the differences by placing the samples side by side against a dark background. Whereas wdr911's photos minimize the differences since you can see areas of Fashion grey which are lit more brightly (partly because of the contours of the car), thus matching Chalk more closely. If you cut and paste the two (and adjust them a little to match more closely), like I've done belwo, then you can see how they're really showing the same thing.

Just for comparison, colour samples of Riviera and Mexico (bottom two samples in the photo below) look noticeably different (Mexico darker), when in real life on cars, they are almost indistinguishable unless side by side and closely examined.

Wow, the fashion and chalk look really, REALLY similar when compared like that, it's almost crazy. However it makes sense how that could be the case.

Daniel, is Chalk close enough to Fashion for your taste?

Sh$t, that's what happens when my wife is yelling at me. I'll go back and take care of it. Thank you Jamie.

Just chalk it up to forgetting where you left your crayon...

(sorry, didn't mean to make an off-color joke)

I haven't seen Chalk in real life yet. Chalk panny should be showing up at dealership soon. So I'll wait to offer a real opinion then. But based on photos, I'd say it is pretty darn close and seems to be at least 95% of the way there. I'll post a photo of my car beside Chalk when I get that opportunity.

A chalk panamera came to a dealer 50 miles out from me, and because I'm slightly insane I went to check it out. The color is AWESOME and a total chameleon. I'm definitely ordering my GTS in this color. It's a legitimate hybrid btw sport classic and fashion grey in person. Here are a couple shots. The one from a distance with shadows, the other right next to the paint, and then I brightened up the picture (did NOT change saturation or warmth settings). These pics were taken with an iPhone 6s if that matters for your guys judgement.

and the slightly corrected version

You mean GT3, Drew?

Thanks for pics, I'm currently stuck on chalk too.
