Default LED vs Standard Xenon Brightness

Here is a video of Nick Murray testing them, if you guys still haven't decided for your upcoming 991.2 build.

I didn't know, is it even possible?

Cool comparison.

Yeah, I don't see anyone offering coding services to Porsche.

I have the LED's on my GT3 and they're great. However, I also have a 2017 M3 with LED headlights and just had the No Dazzle High Beam assist coded on my car and holy **** they're amazing:

Maybe the Durametric device would let you re-program the lights to a brighter setting?

I have the LED's and love them.

They also have the 4 peripheral lights on when driving in daylight which I think is another advantage.

I need to be able to unlock the LEDs to make it worth it.

What I want is extra brightness with the high-beams as that's what I need driving mountain/rural roads at night.

As Nick pointed out in the video, the LEDS are notably brighter than xenons on low-beams, but LEDs are basically equal or slightly worse on high-beams compared to the bi-xenons, as the LEDs are crippled in the US due to silly regulations.

The "anti-dazzle" technology and full beams that the ROW gets is amazing (LED PDLS+) - its almost telepathic and like a searchlight at the same time. I never have to manually put the full beam on - just leave it on the "A" setting - definitely moves the game on if you have the legislation in place to fully use them (I have PDLS xenons in my GTS - they're very good too).

The other points to note are the LEDs are much more durable and can last up to 5 times longer than xenons.

I wish they would update the design of the LED lights, seems they've been using that for a while. Really like the Xenon light update. Maybe they'll just leave it until they switch to laser headlights? I'm actually surprised they don't offer them yet since Audi has them for the R8:

You don't get anti-dazzle feature in GT3 even in ROW (at least Europe). I don't know about other 911 models but GT3 for some reason don't have it. I have it in my BMW LEDs and its amazing although not always every opposite traffic is happy about it (mostly due to their weak halogen lights).

have to admit I was surprised by how much better the low-beam light performance is on the LED's. I had LED's on my F80 M3, and while the anti-dazzle feature I had coded was cool, I didn't really notice any difference to all my other recent cars with Xenons.

Note from the new Panamera:

Note:
Full LED-Matrix functionality (individual operation of 84 LEDs) is limited for the US market. Individual LEDs are programmed to operate as a single light source to perform the functions listed above.
