i like the purple. wing for the track, wingless for the streets. is it just a few screws for remove and re-install?

Yes - removal is taking out the 3 countersunk-head 6x25 screws on each side - Resistorx TT30. Part number is 999.073.510.01
Based on a few reports on the forum the threaded insert can unscrew with the bolt, in two cases clearly the ones closest to the front of the car. So I recommend using a 10" or so socket wrench to break the glue/Loctite bond, rather than a screwdriver or short TORX key.
